1/18 – Exploring Gothenburg

We began our day today with a bus tour of Gothenburg! We explored all over the city and got to experience a few individual places during the stops.

Our first stop was the “Fish Church”! There were certainly some delicious looking fish there, and we even got to taste the famous smoked salmon! It was delicious to say the least.

Next, we stopped at the culture square, which had a great view of the avenue, as well as some interesting sculptures and buildings.

After that, we visited the German church, as well as the surrounding area where we made some new furry friends!

Following that, we went up a hill to a church with a beautiful view overlooking the city of Gothemburg.

The final stop of our bus tour was a small village named Haga. The cafe we went to had MASSIVE cinnamon rolls, which were quite delicious, but it could’ve used a bit of icing.

The rest of the day was spent as free time, and it was a lot of fun!! We stopped by a couple of pubs and shops along the way to explore, and then took a short rest back at the hostel. After that, we left to do some more exploring, and stopped to eat at O’Learys sports bar and enjoyed some fish and chips for dinner.
